Hi guys. I got my 03Cobra Vert (Parchment over redfire) on August 25. Yesterday my local Mustang Club held its annual Dyno Day, and of course I had to see what my new baby would do. (I live in Toronto Canada)There were 20 or so cars there, but even tho I wasn't first in line, they asked me to go first. I think there was a betting pool as to what she'd do.
The car is a second run vehicle, and was built on Aug 12. The only mod so far is a PRO.50 shifter

Anyway, first run, absolutely bone stock:

368 RWHP; 366RWTQ

Second run, airbox removed:

384RWHP; 371 RWTQ

Not bad eh!! And I have a 5 year factory warranty.

Next spring I will be doing the pulley, cat backs, chip, and densecharger. Mybe 4:10 gears, but not much else, as I use this car for business.

I was there and let out a howl when it gained 16 rwhp with the removal of the air filter. What a car, Ford really built this car FORD-TUFF. I have copies of the dyno sheets that I will post soon, The graph shows to me that that car was pulling out timing like crazy. (lots of wavy lines as the torque dropped off). :burnout:

I took it as a good natured joke.
In actual fact, I put my previous car (a 99 GT Vert) away from Dec to March, although the first winter I drove it with snows and it really wasn't too bad. traction control was very effective.
Of course, that car had 50% less horsepower as well......
