I love the sound of mine. If i had the choice i would sacrifice 5hp for the sound difference. What's 5hp???

true.. but if your going for MAX n/a power before the spray, then it counts.. right? lol however.. that car does sound REAL good.. my cams arent even here yet and everytime i hear thumpers i want to sell my cams and get the thumpers..LOL not to mention for MY application i think those thumpers have a 109 LSA and i need 110+ on LSA.

I had a shop install them. I know nothing about the new ones. The older were easier to work on. Make sure to get a good tune...

The custom tunes that were put on my SCT by a well known company at the time i bought my cams was not a good tune. I had to take mine to a shop and run it on the dyno and get a custom tune cause it ran like crap! issues like if you got on it before 3500 rpms it would shut off or limp mode. Surging of rpms at idle.

You will lose some torque dwon low but the mid to high rpms is awesome. I talked with C&L and they said with the intake manifold i will get up to the 6500 rpms range. Right now it pulls to 6200.

ya i kinda thought that i would loose the torque going w/ your cams.. but thats not really a factor either since my car is a auto and i have the 3k stall. so it wouldnt be noticed THAT much if i went w/ the big thumpers. but i did read that alot.. the MOST i read was a loss of 16 on the torque side.

i did a photoshoot with a blue 06 that had thumper cams in it and DAMN did it sound agressive. only thing i wasnt crazy about was the fact that it kinda sounded like a cammed 2v. still sounded intimidating as hell tho!
