“OPERATION HAMMER TIME”

This black muscle car came in on referral. The owner saw another black Camaro I have previously corrected and coated and wanted the same treatment on his muscle bound beast!

For a brand new vehicle with such low mileage, the dealer really did a number on the finish. It is FULL of swirls, holograms, hazy paint, scratches, poor repair attempts, etc; that have resulted in even more holograms, VERY thin clear in some areas (1.2m range) and some hurt clear in areas. My client is very upset that his vehicle looks as it does, and was noticeably upset after I went over the vehicle with him under my LED lights.

I’m hoping for a huge turnaround and explained that some areas I need to tread very lightly on and around. I will be taking my usual approach of being conservative with the correction; while attempting to achieve as much ‘%’ of correction as possible while taking this avenue.

Onto the meat and potatoes!

Looks killer!
I have a love/hate relationship with this car. Sometimes I like them, sometimes, not so much. More so on the not so much part. I do love the front end though.

Like @tones_RS3, I'm not a big fan of what Chevy's done with the Camaro. I can't believe the amount of swirls and scratches on new cars, and that looks like some pretty thin paint! There is, however, no denying the magic you performed. Looks awesome, but I am a little biased toward shiny black cars...

A pleasure to see someone take such pride in their workmanship. Congrats, man! I love seeing your before and after threads. Don't know what you charge but I'd be willing to go out on a limb and guess your customers feel you are well worth it.

Great job with the detailing. I like the ZL1 a lot, except for the massive front grill. IMO it looks better with certain paint color. Black paint is great when it's detailed. Stunning when the paint is detailed to the extent you strive for. Well done!
