It's funny how vitriolic GM is about the Camaro. "Fbodygodfather"(one of the GM guys on the Camaro program) or whatever the hell his name is was over on C5 spreading lies and misinformation about the GT500 and the ZL1 until I called him out on his bullshit and promptly got myself banned for life, 'yo. They just can't stand it that their almighty ZL1 isn't the biggest kid on the block. "Oh, well the Ford fanboys should thank GM for the '13 GT500, without the ZL1, it wouldn't have been built!" Yeah, keep telling yourself that. SVT has gone on record saying the '13 was a response to their own Boss and not the ZL1 - which makes a lot of sense when you consider how close a '12 Boss is to a '12 GT500 in terms of performance. At any rate, I have a hard time believing that the heavier and less powerful 1LE is faster around a track than even the base Boss, let alone an LS. Let's compare them on the same day, at the same track, with stock tires, with the same driver and then see who's superior. No 'ringer drivers, no race slicks, ideal track conditions, and god knows what else....
