Cam regrind how much extra lift and duration?

Hi, pondering getting some 4v cams re-ground.
Looking for someone who has done this or someone in the know.
How much extra lift and duration can you get from it?

I haven't heard of anyone doing it on our cars. Regrinds are typically only used when billet cores are not available, such as on a rare or unusual engine. Also, you can't just toss reground cams in and send it. The cams have a smaller base circle so you need shims for the adjusters and lash caps for the valves, in multiple thicknesses to set the proper lash on each valve.

I think when these engines first came out regrinds were popular. But nowadays there are enough choices out there that it makes regrinding pointless.

It all depends on what lift and duration can be achieved from a regrind.

I'm just weighing up the options at the moment but if I can get the lift and duration Id like then I'll just go with a regrind.
