CAI

I have read several threads that debate which CAI is the best or which ones caused problems so try not to flame me too bad for this question.

Is there any noticeable difference between a CAI and a dropin K&N filter with the silencer removed?

I think in general from what I've read here the CAI gains start to become more evident in pullied / chipped cars.

Thanks, by the way, I noticed that your running the Bassani X-cats & catback with the Eibachs.

Do you have much of a problem w/ the cats scrapping the ground?

No scraping unless it's really steep strange angled drives. There's only one I have found in Austin, but to be fair it scraped before lowering, now it's just worse.

The only thing to be careful of other than that is to go over speed bumps really slow. If you go over even a little too fast the front tires come down quick and the nose dives just enough to tap the underside.
