Assuming you can even get a new one sent to you in CA, Id go with a PMAS 120mm. But just a CAI isnt worth it without the TB and off road mid pipe. None of which can get sent to you new anymore from out of state vendors. With as strict as CA is getting, save your pennies for a Whipple 2.9 complete kit. Im surprised AED is still tuning. I cant tell you how many times I see in the Marketplace guys from CA looking for stock intakes, blowers, cams, throttle bodies. Hell, one guy was looking for a stock M122 upper pulley. It used to be that you just had to worry about going back to stock every 2 years for smog. Now, you got guys getting pulled over for exhaust and getting Smog Refereed for the whole car. Especially in Bay Area? You'd probably get ratted on through the anonymous hotline CARB has set up. Best of luck but if Im you I get get the Whipple kit, make 700hp being CA smog legal and be done with it.
