I am looking into getting a cage for the car. Am i better off to get a bolt in cage, like from MM, or just have someone weld me up one??? If i get a bolt in 6 pt can i upgrade to an 8 point later on? i havent been kicked out yet, but i dont want the fun to end by an accident either.

I could be wrong, but for it to be NHRA legal, I believe it has to weld in.

Why can't you weld in a prefab bolt together roll bar? I haven't looked at the NHRA regs in a long time on the issue. I bet someone here will gladly quote them for us.
