Because I’m a Ford guy and until the Camaro gets it and it actually is able to consistently “lay waste” to the 2020 GT500, it is just that. Opinion Theory Hypothetical And fake! If it does than so be it but GM has to actually put the motor in the Camaro to even be a “possibility”. Then it actually has to accomplish that! Otherwise Just wait until Ford puts the twin turbo Predator engine in the 2022 GT500 and puts the Camaro in its grave with authority! See I can do fake news too ;) Look I’ve already posted in this thread and others that the C8 is a game changer and I am impressed and hooked on following its progress. I would absolutely love to see what this thing does with a Whipple or twin turbos. Can’t wait to see how it all turns out. I think it will be incredible and I truly wish Ford had something to compete in the mid engine arena at that price point. So much so that I’m struggling with the fact that I may actually have to buy one! BUT All the hypothetical ass kickings that everyone is throwing into each and every thread is nothing more than entertainment!! Until these cars are on the road or track head to head it’s nothing more than that. Bench race all you want but let’s be realistic. People are quoting this and that and everything is getting exaggerated. Hell about a 3600 lbs curb weight verse a possible 4200 curb weight is being posted as a “nearly 1000 lbs difference”. Really? So to sum it all up! I’ve been drinking and doing a few pudding shots because I’m stuck on a stupid camping trip thats not camping in my opinion. Surrounded by my wife her friend and 4 whiny ass little kids that I only have to claim one of. Anyway I’m bored and have nothing else to do ;) However I think the C8 is incredible and I think the GT500 is too but think more could have been done with it. Let’s have fun and see how things play out. Then we can really get down to it when they hit the tracks :) Ken
