For those who have done the swap, can you tell me what parts will be needed to get one of these transmissions to work?
I have a 2012 mustang GT with mt-82 and seems the swap to the 6r80 is VERY expensive and hard to find. Since my car is just my weekend toy that I'm trying to "mock" the Cobra Jet, I don't mind having to manually shift my auto.
I'm just looking for the LEAST expensive auto trans swap. What do I do about the computer, speedo etc. I have seen people do the conversion but can't find a write up on what all is needed.
Any advice or tips will be great. Thank you.
