Im going to get my car tuned next weekend and was wondering if im going to benifit a lot with going with c16 insted of 110. The only thing is that 110 is so much easier to get from the pump. The car has jims thp 57's on it:shrug:

C16 all the way. dont waste your money on the 110 anymore

your lucky to get 100 octane out of 110, the C16 is made for boosted applications and i have personally tested it at 116+ octane.

110 is great for NA motors but i would spend a bit more on the C in your case.
your probably not going to see any difference in the numbers, but the C16 will be safer for your combo.

how high are you turning up the boost?
I would say 16/17psi MAX on pump gas

also make sure all your couplers are nice and tight, cause once you turn up the boost to 19+ they like to fly off, and normally its going to be the real hard to get at one that will fly off first
good luck

c16 is a much better fuel than 110.
just depends what boost you plan on running and how aggressive you want to get with the tune.

I tried c16 but at 15 bucks a gallon = no thanks, now I am running 111 and cost less then 7 bucks at 20 psi is good. Plus it's my DD ;) One thing good is I live close to work so it don't matter I use 111 on DD

If it's not a DD and track only car or trying to get big number at dyno I'm all for it. One thing I learn from C16 is cannot be driving around like 111 or 100. It foul all my plugs and shit but if I have dd and was stang for racing only then c16 then traller the bad bitch to the track and bone out will be my thing :)

I had meth injection and ran torco fuel accelerator. Had zero issues and it didn't harm my o2 sensors. Just my experience.

i ran the octane on some of my buddies race fuel and the 110 came in at 98.3 octane
where as the C16 came in at 121.0 oct.
world of difference there.

i tested
102 unleaded at 102.9 octane
110 leaded at 98.3
112 leaded at 109.4
116 leaded at 121.0(C16)
118 leaded at 124.2
and
Q16 at 394.1:) dont think the machine liked it. i think the octane was way to high for my machine so it just threw up that 394 number. also the weight O2 on the Q16 was 8.01% more than double what you get at the pump with a 10% ethanol blend!
