I have this setup on my 03 swap and it works well. The C&L's just don't like a 90 degree bend before the MAF.

Before you buy the C&L, search these forums. There are a lot of posts dealing with it's plusses and minuses.

Running the C&L 95mm with a powerstack filter. No problems so far and I have been running this since June, or 14,xxx miles.

Aftermarket MAFs are really a waste of money until you have saturated your OEM unit, especially if you are going to tune it anyway and make less than 500 rwhp. They don't flow much more air and you can't use any more air anyway until you up the power. But, since the C&L uses stock electronics you will max it out at 500 rwhp just like the stocker and have to buy a ProM or SCT or MAF extender. The way C&L makes power is by leaning out your A/F in an unpredictable way. Get a tune instead and make the same power in a much more controlled and safe manner.
