Mine are aggressively backspaced at 7.25 so they could be spaced out if needed and not stick out too far from the get go.. Because of the larger diameter tire I'm running I did space them back out 1/4 so the backspacing is technically 7". On an 11, you can do 6.75 or 6.5 on an 11 on an SN95 with SRA

Thank you so much!!!! your car is amazing!!!!

is there an offset I should be aware of also in determining the proper fitment. seems that is one of the criteria the wheel makers want to know. thanks again for your help!!!

Updates on the car.. Nothing to update lol. I blew the clutch up going into 2nd gear the other day so I have to decide what I want to do there.. I may just throw in a King Cobra or perhaps an Exedy or something for now. But I'm getting ready to leave for work for the fall so I will pick back up on the projects this winter. I now have a new garage so I will be able to finish all the odds and ends and get this car ready to drive for good next spring. I'll keep you guys posted with pics as I go. For now, I'm gonna rock the lightning for whats left of summer. Also, I made a thread in Pics and Vids, but I guess I should post these pics here too.. Taken last week.

I'm actually in love with the wheels you had on before those .can you give me the details on rim size, offset and tire size?

Just reread through this entire thread again. So very much impressive work done here.

10/10

Would recommend.

Thanks. Not a great thread as I'm kind of scatterbrained due to my hectic all over the country work schedule.
Bought a new house a few months ago and have the toys moved into it. I have a bunch of house stuff to do while I'm off this summer, but I plan on finishing a bunch of little things on the Cobra and driving it.

I am going to order ANOTHER set of Michelins, slightly smaller than whats on there. I like the big meaty tire, but fronts look too tall. It was a $1500 gamble.. Looks like I lost on that one. Now I'll have $1500 inb PS4's with 25 miles on them, basically worth shit.

Dropping down to a 265/30R19 in front from the 265/35R/19 and going to a 305/30 from the 325/30.. This will drop the diameters down by exactly 1" front and rear.
It will also keep the rears from rubbing so much on off camber stuff.

As badass as the hood/nose on the 96-98 Cobras are, the rear is that much more badder asser....and that is a scientific fact.

Have you considered installing the Cobra stenciled letters for the bumper (just the pinstriped letters)

Been a busy summer with a new house and it's projects, but I've now driven the car twice. I've been waiting on my new tires to show up but that's been a mess, so I just said **** it and took it for a drive today. I can't be super aggressive because I rub the fenders a little, but god damn did Jack Hidley do a great job spec'ing this suspension.. It's the most planted, predictable SRA Car I've ever been in.. The amount of grip is up close to the 350R's.. (same back tire sizing, but smaller fronts, but the Cobra also weighs 700# less). Here a few pics from the drive and a quick video..
