Looking at buying a 03 cobra.
Has tons of mods that make me think it may have driven hard Looks like it was done right to support this just wondering how well they hold up to that abuse.

I would probably ask this in the Terminator section but depending how well built, how well taken care of, and how abused. Depending on what you are looking for this could be a nightmare car.

Yeah you’d do good posting the cars mad list here for a better say on it.

Figured a road course car would have more suspension mods than engine mods, unless it was cooling upgrades.

Pick your poison.

First off. If you’re looking at a modified terminator then assume it was driven hard. These cars were meant to be driven this way so that wouldn’t scare me away as long as the engine is healthy. Second, these look like mods just for overall improvement, not necessarily road racing. I’d ask the owner what he did with it and if you can get pictures of it then that would be helpful to.

Seems more like HPDE at best than true road racing.

I used to frequent multiple HPDE track days a year with a few other Terminators. None of us ever had any issues, and the mods were all across the board.

Not all modded cars are driving hard. I baby mine....so there is at least one... Can't use all 700 rwhp on the road.

Why do you believe it was road raced? Did the seller say so? Are you assuming it was?

What's the mileage? How much is the seller asking?

You would be wise to ask the seller a lot of questions about the car, get photos, check the Carfax report, have the engine checked, etc. Like @2004cobra615 said, you can't assume a car is driven hard based on the mods. It's likely it has been, but you can't assume that.

Get it compression tested to see the health of the engine. Those mods are pretty basic mods that all terminators needs. Crank the boost up on the e85 tune to the note of 22 psi and enjoy.

Would need a cage for full on road racing, and interior would likely be stripped.

The cosmetics of the car will speak volumes. If tracked, you will see it. One detail to look for is rubber marks (the marbles on the track are picked up, and mark up the inner fenders, rocker panels etc).
