All valid points Henry. I agree with you overall, but still feel the OP should do his due diligence and check the car out. If compression is low or the car does not run properly or feel right during the test drive then walk away. My only point was do not make a judgement based solely on something you "see." Also, some people see a Whipple or TSV and get all excited. However, that does not mean the car was tuned properly to go with the extra boost and that does not mean the extra money was spent on items to support the extra boost. As for me, I agree a lot of folks do not know what they are doing when it comes to adding nitrous to a Terminator. However, I installed the nitrous myself, had a shop install a nitrous tune for me based on dyno runs and parameters identified from a laptop (i.e. timing and fuel). I also installed a window switch that turned the nitrous on at 3,000 RPMs and turned it off once the RPMs went below 3,000. I never launched off the line over that because the tires would just spin anyway. Lastly, I have only sprayed my coupe twice. Tires spun the first time and factory clutch went out the second time. So, I upgraded to a 26 spline shaft and McLeod dual clutch set up. But never went back to the track as my 65 was finished and I was messing with it at the time. I know this is too much information, but if I ever sell this car this can serve as a historical record of my Cobra coupe.
