Bumper ideas for 01 GT.......

Hey guys, I picked up a 2001 GT today with a locked up engine, and the front bumper needs work.....I figured while it was tore down, I can put a nice front bumper and maybe a rear bumper on it.....

Just looking for some good ideas you guys have tried on the GT's....

I think the 01 Cobra front will be the best unanimous favorite for the front. For the rear...leave it alone! Personally, I think when these cars have diff. fronts they can look very nice, but changing the rear just looks...Odd.

I'm a big fan of the Roush bumper, but it doesn't quite look right unless you have the whole kit.

I vote 99/01 Cobra bumper with 03/04 Cobra chin spoiler.

I know there is a member around here that has a Mach 1 with a 99/01 bumper and mach 1 chin. it looks a little out of place.

I think most of it has to do with the stance of the car. The higher the car sits, the more awkward it looks. But also need one of the larger chin spoilers for it to look right. I only know of one company that makes them for the 01 cobra bumper but they want 200 for it.

That looks dumb.

The bumper doesn't flow with any of the rest of the car. If you want to do the rear bumper, sideskirts and the wing, then it wouldn't look so out of place. The 01 cobra bumper still actually fits the rest of the car (back bumper, sideskirts and wing).

The saleen and roush bumpers are the same. Unless you go with the hwole kit they just look out of place.
