SOLD!

For sale is my Bulova Lunar Pilot 45mm Chronograph in 45mm w/ a 15.5mm case height. The mesh bracelet will be removed and the OEM Bulova black NATO strap will come with the watch. The case is completely polished and the pushers are very slender so they don't get caught on any clothing.

I am an Automatic watch snob. I never buy quartz, and all my other watches are automatics, but this watch operates at 262kHz, HAQ (High Accuracy Quartz). The second hand has a butter smooth sweep like you would see on any decent hi-beat automatic watch. At 262kHz, it only has a loss/gain of -10/+10 seconds a year. That's not a typo. Yes, that accurate per year and not every few weeks to months does it have any loss/gain deviation.

The back of the case is engraved with the date of the Apollo 15 mission where the watch famously was worn by David Scott when his Omega stopped working, so he put on the Bulova, which at the time had no real name and was made specifically for David Scott to bring into space when Bulova gave him one they special made for the trip. He initially wore the Omega and intended on wearing that, but once it broke, the Bulova because his main option. If you're wondering about which watches have been in space, they consist of Omega, Bulova, Sinn, and Fortis.

I purchased this watch just last month and another Seiko the last week of March. The watch has a 3 year warranty and has not been activated yet. So the new owner can go online and register the watch under their name as the owner. The watch is full kit and comes with all the original boxes.

I accept Square, Google Pay, Apple Pay, and Cash App. No PayPal/Venmo

$285 shipped plus add 3% for the processing fees.

I have perfect feedback on watchuseek forums. I've sold many watches from Rolex, Tudor, Panerai, Tag Heuer, Omega, Sinn, Breitling, microbrands like Monta, Longines, NOMOS, Hamilton, Mido, Tutima, and many many more.

Interested brother. Any chance you're willing to part ways with the mesh bracelet?

I'll show you the reason i'm asking for your wrist size, it will fit any wrist up to around 8.25-8.5", but that is because of the connector links. I pulled one connector link off so it would look much cleaner, but also wears somewhat tight now. I went on a mesh craze last summer, putting different mesh/milanese bracelets on my Breitling, Omega, Sinn, and Nomos.

I'll show you some of my other watches. For the money, this Bulova is an incredible deal. If you're thinking of buying it somewhere else, it may be just a bit more expensive. If you try to get the watch on Amazon, the price changes about 3-4 times a week since they run out of stock from whichever company they're currently supplying the watch from. Plus you have tax. Also, I am always available to answer questions about watches. Cars and watches are my hobbies. Expensive hobbies, but everything else in my life i'm pretty frugal with, like clothes, food, house-work, which I try to do everything with my own hands like my car.
