I ran H/C/I on my 90 from 140K to 210K and never had an issue.

25 PSI idle.

Oh and some bottle feeding.

It all depends on the maintenance IMHO. If you do regular oil changes/spark plug changes/fuel filter changes/clean out your Air filter every once in a while and don't spank it ALL of the time your motor should last about 150k+ Miles. It's the bozos who spank on their cars/don't do regular maintenance that get like 30K miles on their motors.

Cobra owners though got screwed with our rod bearing issues IMHO.

My parents had a 93 Ford Ranger 2.3 when I was a kid that lasted well over 300kmi, until it rusted out from underneath itself. Original engine and everything. Just regular oil changes.

Nice, the life of an engine has to do with the owner. You have obviously kept care of it.
Thanks, I do. I can't take all the credit though, it was my dad's before back in the day and he takes real good care of his cars...and taught me to do the same.

Nice car it looks great for that many miles.
My 1997 Ford Explorer has about 215,500 miles on it and I have beat the piss outta it! LOL The only thing I do to it is change the oil. I have had it in water/mud up over the head lights and even had the front end airborne 2 times lol. Built Ford tuff is right. My explorer runs great and I will keep it until the wheels fall off.
