Break-in miles ?

I have not seen anything official from ford on break in miles, this is not a zlpig!
However rule of thumb, drive modestly first 100 to allow the drivetrain parts to get going...other than that, just drive.....however you want!

If you read the owners manual, yes...not that I or anybody else actually follow it.
From the 2013 GT500 Owners Supplement Manual
BREAKING-IN YOUR VEHICLE
Your vehicle requires a break-in period. Drive your new vehicle at least
100 miles (160 km) before performing extended wide open throttle
maneuvers and at least 1,000 miles (1,600 km) before performance/
competition conditions. Vary your speed frequently in order to give the
moving parts a chance to break in.

1 - 2 11 mph (18 km/h)
2 - 3 18 mph (29 km/h)
3 - 4 25 mph (40 km/h)
4 - 5 30 mph (48 km/h)
5 - 6 43 mph (69 km/h)

I figured she was broke in and good to go around ten to eleven miles and then hammered her all the way home (another 10 miles) & changed oil !!!

I tried that with a cat and all I got was poop in my shoes. Where's the love?

Pedal to the metal during the process highly recommended also.

So you did the first oil change at 20 miles or so? That's the earliest I've heard yet.

Changed the next weekend with about 375 miles , using Mobil 1 just as I do in my Terminator since its first change.
