I got the Planted brackets and they did not have the needed range of adjustment to get the seats to sit where I wanted. I had to machine the mounting slots further, drill additional holes, and even heat and reshape them. Still after many, many hours of frustration the upper portion of the seat would contact the door panel when closed. I ended up shimming the rear outside mount a little and finally achieved enough clearance. The whole ordeal was basically to get the seat to sit closer to the center of the car. You also have to mount the seatbelt to the bracket instead of the seat like factory which posed another clearance issue for moving the seat inboard further. The seats also sit lower which is fine but also quite a bit further back. The front seat can actually contact the back seat now. Great for tall or long legged drivers but not so much for me as I like to be up closer to the steering wheel, especially when racing and trying to row the gears. The mounting holes in the seat frame are offset which moves the seat back a few more inches. I tried to offset this by drilling additional holes in the rails to move the seat further forward but there was only so much room to move it forward. So long story short (no pun intended) if I have the seat slid to the most forward travel possible I just barely get the clutch fully to the floor without having to stretch. I've considered getting a clutch pedal extension from AM. I have read many people like them as it lets you sit a little further from the wheel but still able to fully depress the clutch.
