I've had a set of SPD Downpipes with the optional Gesi Cats on my Bronco Raptor for over a year now, and they are still one of my favorite mods. They add just enough growl when you want, but are easily tamed with the BRaptor's factory selectable exhaust modes. Add to that their perfect fit, excellent quality, and a decent bump in power and you have an overall winner of an upgrade.

CLICK HERE for the article covering the original install at 5 Star Tuning.

Since I installed them I got a little busy and forgot that I had shot a video comparing my BRaptor's SPD equipped exhaust to a bone-stock one. This silver Bronco Raptor was a test vehicle from Ford, and was very nicely equipped. So here is my found footage comparison - Enjoy!! -

The SPD setup sounds really good. Deep and smooth. Great video, and nice to see that you’re continuing to enjoy your B-Raptor!

Love the set up on my Raptor R along with the Alpha cats. As mentioned above very high quality and fit.

Thanks Bob. I'm considering adding a cat-back.

I've been impressed with every SPD product I've laid my hands on.

Both. I helped the guys at 5 Star Tuning install them.
If we had a top-notch shop around here, I'd probably install a DP (seems highly regarded though the manufacturer escapes me) but I'm not doing it myself especially w/o a lift. Those who have gone on such an endeavor have said it is a pain because of one bolt on the flange.

Yeah, it’s a pain. IIRC, Brandon got that fastener from the top while I guided the socket/wrench onto it from the bottom.

I’ve got the spd down pipes on my daily, quality setup but I only did it because the factory driver cat took a dump. I like the turbo whistle at high idle on cold start. Overall though, I just can’t get into how these things sound
