Received my Z23 pads and Raybestos rotors from RockAuto in 2 days!...way ahead of their schedule shipping time. Xfire- had EBC Red Stuff pads...still good so kept but swapped in the Z23. Z23 backs were chamfered quit a bit compared to the EBC, disappointed but same exact pad sizes. Fronts were slightly larger than EBC with little chamfering. Used old rotors - still good. This may be a step down in braking ! GT500.....installed new rotors - Raybestos Street Performance...coated and heavier than stock Ford rotors. Rear pads removed and they were Z26!! don't even remember installing them but they were worn more than half way and both sides cracked near center. Front pads...pulled stock and compared....stock pad surfaces are LARGER than the Z23. The Z23 leave about 1/4 of used rotor surface at the bottom. Not good. Installed anyway but may swap out in the spring. Keep old pads still had a lot of material left. Weird thing is the shape of the backing plate on the old front pads....it only allows half of the piston surfaces to actually contact the backing plate of all six pistons. On the Z23 the full piston surfaces contact their plate... taking old GT500 rotors to have them resurfaces, no warpage or gouges and still in good shape.. If Z23 suck I'm going back to stock front rotors with Carbotech pads.
