Yeah I'm just wanting to see some track times on the 2.65, nothing on YouTube or on here.

VMP send me one and I'll get the ball rolling lol. I have an old 3.4 Crusher and was trying to compare what others are running with their 2.65's.

Be interesting to see what your IAT's are compared to the 3.4.

Several that have this blower, we're heading to get track numbers....but no one ever reported back. Thats been years now. The vmp thread that was here in terminator talk never got updated with results.

I plan on going Gen3R. You can port the Gen3 to get 3R performance out of it and then some........Jokerz does them for like $800-$1000 I believe. 1320 also might.

There was a cobra recently built with the 3R that made really good numbers but it was a cammed 9.7:1 motor, 4lb lower I believe and 24.7 pounds. Made 922/850ish on E85 and upper 700's on 93. Believe it had some mild head work as well nothing crazy.

There is also 2-3 more cars i've seen on FB make over 1000whp with the Gen3R.....one was on stock heads/block...just cams... and like 29 pounds.

I can tell you this.....the blower is not the limiting factor, despite all the hate it gets.

Whipple is still king, but the 3R's are no joke.

That's really awesome. Have those guys posted any track times? I'm interested in some MPH times at the end of the traps too.

There are way too many variables involved with trap speed. Some 600hp guys trap 150 and some 1000hp guys trap 140. Dyno numbers do not equate to timeslips at all.

I really wish you would have slapped on that ported Gen 3R on your car......its a shame.

Mine is getting finished up on the dyno by tomorrow ( Labor Day ) I might go to the track before its up for the winter but I'm not 100% sure at this point. Its not a drag car and if I go I only want a MPH to back up the dyno results. My ET / 60' will be trash, the bushings in the IRS are beat and I really don't want to break anything by trying to do a good launch.

Its a base build, on the 3.3 pulley 18 PSI and 93 pump gas and the stock lower. I needed a starting point with this build to see how I like it and if I want more.

My best with my 3.4 Whipple crusher is 9.81 @ 139.8 (6.27 1/8 mile). I'm trying to get this bad boy into the 5's and I don't think the 3.4 has it in her. Maybe if I upped it to 30 pounds. Anyway I'm wondering if a ported 2.65 on 28 pounds could get me there.
