I was looking over my car last night and noticed the boost reference hose that goes to the fuel rail pressure sensor was blown off! I just had the car at the track last weekend and my mph was slightly down and the car just hasn't been performing as well as I had hoped. What would be the negative effects of this not being hooked up?

yes, it would be a negative effect cause a leak would give a false reading at the rails. you could be running low fuel rail pressure if your frps is not registering the proper boost.

Thanks! I knew that it used the boost/vacuum reference to increase or decrease fuel rail pressure. I was just wondering how badly it could have effected the way the car was running. Everything felt fine during the runs but I don't know how long its been like that. Anyway its fixed now and I guess I'll just have to see how it performs next time.

Thanks again.

I was told to zip tie all connections to prevent connectors blowing off.
