Just purchased new 16 gt350, is it worth loosing warranty to whipple ?
Haven't heard a lot about this...can these engines hold up. I thought with crank they can?

Just did the final checks on the GT350 we whippled, made almost 800whp on pump gas and stock boost, drives like stock until you drop the hammer down.....I'd go for it.

I personally would not do it. It's a NA track car; enjoy it for what it is or maybe trade it in on an RS3. JMO.

its an NA track car built for the track. Trade it in for somthn else if thats ur goal. not even worth it with such low TQ numbers imo. wait for a single Turbo kit to come out. I'm sure it won't be long.

I was just wondering what a small single turbo would be like on it. Maybe something to boost it to 650HP at the crank. I wouldn't want to go crazy with boosting on this engine. Not because it can't take it, but because boosting would kind of water down the character of the Voodoo, IMO. Plus, turbo lag sucks, and sometimes I just don't want to hear supercharger whine.

That's pretty killer Josh. Whipple's canned tune is pretty damn good, especially on the S550 cars!
How well do you think the car will handle those numbers? I'm always hearing different things about the engine not holding up and what not.

All depends on how the owner drives it. This car went to an older gentleman that's only going to drive it on weekends, and won't be beating the shit out of it. I wouldn't be surprised if the setup lasted the life of the car.

It's all in how you treat your equipment
