obviously not enough of em out there being boosted for a general consensus, your numbers are prolly close. Didnt Hellion crack 950 on a stock motor with their twin kit?

I would say that the weak spot tends to be the tune.

I would agree.

My car is still alive after 23k miles of supercharged glory. Although sadly the transmission let go the first night the new owner had her. (he was giving her hell)

Ford has learned a lot about how to make higher quality powder metal rods, and pistons as well. Who here remembers the days when you could throw the rods out of a bone stock Lightning? While the pistons in the Coyote tend to be the failure point, most of the piston failure I see are due to tuning issues. That's not to say it's the tuner's fault though.

Assuming a good tune, IMO the snapping point depends on the type of SC. A positive displacement creates a lot more torque throughout the power band and more heat than a centrifical.

Mean while, stock Mach 4.6 could handle 500 max, 650 for the 5.0, 2011-14, the 2015, from what I've read, 750. Thanks Ford!

Is there a demand for stock 5.0 engines out of new cars and how much do they go for??

It would be nice to be able to sell it and use that money towards an Aluminator and not have to worry about blowing the motor at ~650-750rwhp.

There's always a market for them from people looking to build their own. I would expect a $100-300 premium over a 2011-2014 short block, probably around $500-700 for a long block.
