Any updates? What’s your next step?
Still haven't gotten it back. Matt added a couple degrees of timing now I'm at 670 atleast. Blowing off my intercooler piping when throttle let's off so had to do a bigger blowoff valve. He doesn't see anything wrong. I'll just have to see how it feels. Like I said on a separate dyno I had almost 100hp increase so I'm guessing his dyno is just calibrated differently. Matt does not see anything wrong. When I pick it up I'll see for myself.

There is no way you need a bigger blow off valve if you have the procharger brrv. It’s good for like 1200hp

I don't have that one. I have the vortech Mondo bypass valve. But it's not cutting it. Good for around 12 psi says on vortechs website. I'm not sure which one he ordered for me now. I'll ask him and when I pick up the car I'll see and also take some pictures. Taking forever lol.

The Mondo is equal to the BBRV. Do you mean you have the Mini Race? This would be the first time I've heard of pipes popping off after letting off the throttle. Even if the BOV was small it should just flutter because of the volume of air. The pressure is still gone as soon as it opens.

Something just seems wrong here… wasn’t it already based on blower and pulley ratios it shouldn’t be able to make 27#? Boost way higher than should be, blowing off charge pipes…

Yep plenty of things don’t add up. Hence why I told him to take it to AED.

A bad measurement or a restriction somewhere
Could it be my stock intake manifold perhaps?

There's a coyote swapped foxbody at the same shop same dyno. Puts down 740 with 12 pounds. My car puts down 670 with 26 pounds. Wonder what could be restricted. My stock intake? His boost reading does seem correct basef off other cars there. Thanks.

At first I had 629 hp. Added 2 degrees of timing now it's 670. So atleast it improved some.

I doubt it’s the intake. People have taken the stock intake to 1k hp.

Do you have the IMRC plates still in or are they removed? If they're in that could be a big problem lol

What kind of shape are the mufflers in? I wonder if the baffles inside are falling apart? Might be worth making a pull with the catback disconnected.

bro.. get that car to a mustang specialist before they melt this fukin thing. You are gonna fuk around and the car is gonna nip a piston. Let a ford specialist do a compression and leakdown test to verify the engine is in good health. These guys are struggling to learn your car... its become an experiment for them. Are u being billed by the hour?
