RIP to those guys. Terrorism: The New War on Drugs As an American I didn't sign up for this bull shit. 9/11 set the mission at kill Osama Bin Laden. Mission accomplished, get the F out. ISIS is more of a nuisance than anything now. They are too small, too guerilla like, we are accomplishing nothing at this point, unless we are going to do a full force invasion. We are wasting resources at this point. I almost feel we need to pull back, let the situation escalate, then really handle shit should it materialize. We are doing it wrong, clearly. Our allies and us as well, are fueling the problem by funding Syrian Rebels. It's like donating money to one of those charities where only 5 cents on the dollar actually goes to helping. The loss goes deeper than losing a team of special forces operatives. This loss was used as a recruitment tool, strengthening their numbers. War is a numbers game. The US military isn't designed for guerilla warfare, it's designed for blitzkrieg style wipe with overwhelming force. Can't hit something you can't see. I say let them dig in first.
