yeah i like the b more than the s. the M340I/M40i makes it difficult to justify a full blown M carAny with a B58 motor so 15/16 year model or newer the x4 m40i my favorite that we make at the plant in Spartanburg if u r not in need of major space. If so go x5 or 5 series sedan if a car is ur desire. The B motors have been a major upgrade in the reliability area hence y Toyota chose to use the platform in the z4 I mean Supra lol
One good thing is it won't get a ton of mileage, unless my wife swipes it. The most mileage I do is going back and forth to the farm and I take the truck for that. If I only go back and forth to work for a week, I will total about 20 miles. Be pretty surprised if I put more than 7k miles a year on it.
And I will eventually go back to a speed demon, this isn't forever.
More thinking and looking commences...

0-60 @ 4.1 and 119 trap in the 1/4. Definitely impressive for a small SUV, but still basically bolt on coyote numbers for the past 10 years. The X3 M40i would literally shit on the Explorer ST in every way possible. the only category the St wins is in the third row because the ST doesn't have one. Cost wise they aren't far apart.
In a stoplight race, I'd put my money on the X3 M over a GT500 7 days a week and twice on Sunday.

Edit: wait the above is for an X3 M, not 40i... X3 M40i is a 13 second rig at like 104mph, that's tune only 3v numbers lol you sure it's all that?

did you get the extended traffic jam assist or gesture control? both of them makes a world of differenceI just settled a deal on an X3M Competition package last night!! lol.
I took an X4 M40 out for a test drive. That engine sold me. The sound and soul of it was awesome. The X3M will be even better.
Unfortunately it's a company car so now we have to wait for Enterprise Fleet Services to do their bit. Which is painful to watch. I'm not a very patient person for inefficiency. lol.
But it will have a Berger tune ASAP. lol.
