2018 BMW M4 Convertible Tanzanite Blue Metallic, 2436 Miles 3.0 liter twin turbo inline 6 Two-tone interior, black and cohiba brown. DCT trans, 444hp/406ft lb tq.(Competition Package) 0-60: 3.8 seconds This is a new client; a referral from a good friend and client of mine. He has been researching getting his vehicle ceramic/glass coated for some time. My friend and client overheard him one day and mentioned that I do all of his vehicles and that he should contact me. He did. Set up an appointment and now this sweet Beemer is in for a little correction and protection! This paint is amazing! It’s full of flake, pearl, and just craziness! When my lights and the sun hit it…it has to be seen in person! It came to me with the usual water spotting, minor marring and swirling and some minor scuff marks. Tools/chemicals/process/etc: Iron decon with McKee’s37 iron remover. Washed with Blackfire shampoo, GYEON mitt. Clayed with a Griot’s medium mitt. Master Blaster to dry. DeFelsko PTG. ScanGrip lighting. Rupes MkII 21, Rupes iBrid, Rupes LHR 12. Misc. Foam pads. Rupes blue, green and yellow compounds/polishes. Misc. MF towels. Washed again after correcting due to excessive dust with SCG Pro shampoo and GYEON mitt. MB to dry again. Optimum Paint prep for final wipe down. 22ple Mistico Elemento Forte was the LSP. Wheels removed, washed with SCG Pro shampoo, IPA wipe down. Wheel wells cleaned with Adam’s APC. Tires cleaned with Adam’s Tire and Rubber cleaner. Wheels and calipers coated with 22ple VM1. Fender liners coated with IGL trim. Engine bay cleaned with Adam’s APC. Trim and carbon fiber coated with IGL trim. Tire dressing: McKee’s37. Glass cleaner: Auto Finesse. Metro vacuum. McKee’s37 Interior cleaner. Leather coated with Gtechniq Leather Coat. Thank you for looking! Hard to capture defects in this paint, but they are there.
