You're right about that. I don't care if a shifter looks like a big, corn-ridden foot so long as it helps me get into the 11's on the stock F-1's.

I love my UPR Blue Thunder shifter. I had one in my '96 Cobra for 3 years and it never caused any problems and I always hit 3rd!!
The difference it makes over the stock 6spd shifter is night and day....Why anyone would pay the high dollar for the Steeda Tri-Ax is beyond me, unless you like financing their racing program. UPR's Blue Thunder is cheaper, same quality, and Joe stands behind his products, what more could you want!!
