I hate starting new threads, but I have looked and looked and looked at everyone's engine pictures that I could find, and damn near every setup is different. I pieced together the kit myself.

This is the discharge tube to the throttle body I'm running.. No fittings.. yet.. Also wondering about IAC options. Going for the CLEANEST LOOK POSSIBLE.
Will be building the intercooler piping next week.

I'm running Terminator Valve Covers which looks like the passenger cover will come dangerously close to my discharge tube. I'm running the cast tube because I want to keep the STB..

The motor has 40k.. I just pulled the intake hat yesterday to have it powdercoated and this motor is PRISTINE... Zero oil film..anywhere..

What do you guys suggest? If I stuck with the PCV I'd like to at least run an oil separator. I also purchased the CFM oil filler cap 1 way breather.

What I did was get a push in to AN fitting in the valve cover and then a 90 on the hose. It hits the discharge tube, but was all I could think of. When installing the discharge tube I hold it up off the valve cover when tightening the clamps and that gives clearance also. Will post a couple of pics.

Non-COP valve covers. YMMV.

let me see if I can find a picture of what I did.. Run them both to a catch can with a vent on top. Like a Moroso Or even better, what we've been doing with more of the cars is welding bungs to the exhaust and venting it to the exhaust..

I prefer to keep a little vacuum in the crankcase, not just let the blowby escape. If it were my car and I didn't live in California, I would run the Moroso scavenging kit: http://www.summitracing.com/parts/mor-25900

I'd put the nipples in the pipes right after the mufflers, so the mufflers don't get gunked up.

This gives you a crankcase vacuum plus your engine compartment doesn't accumulate oil vapor. But it is not great for emissions.

Or even better, run a vacuum pump. This is a very interesting article about the topic: http://www.enginelabs.com/engine-te...how-external-vacuum-pumps-free-up-horsepower/

A vacuum pump is simply out of the question.. While it would be optimal, it's not happening.
I've looked into the exhaust evac kits quite alot for my pushrod car, and their effectiveness at anything but wot has been pretty questionable, although, obviously with boost, a pcv is not operative at all under WOT.

I wish there were better electric evac pumps, because that would certainly be the way to go.

What's everyone else doing??

Even with non-cop covers I'm interested in seeing it.
