Blow-thru MAF on non-intercooled Vortech?

Yeah would have to use a slotted Maf and change it to vent to the atmosphere

I have a bov/bypass valve that's new if you need one

Can't do it. Well...can't do it without a lot of unnecessary piping. Think about it.

You have to be able to have a blow off or bypass valve to prevent compressor surge. You cannot vent air to the atmosphere if it has been metered. There isn't enough pipe length in a standard non-intercooled setup to put a MAF in a straight section of pipe. This is why non-intercooled are draw through.

You can use a slot MAF in a draw through.

Yeah it's gone, I have a Viper now but I don't want to beat on it at the track so I picked up a 98 Cobra today

Ok well I can't argue with that. Vipers are bad ass. Nice ride. Glad your back in a mustang though. Haven't seen you around the boards in a while.
