Why is it BS? Just because they qouted you 500 doesn't mean anything. I was qouted 5 different prices by 5 different dealers on the Cobra 3rd brake light, ranging from 250 - 145. The side skirts I have been qouted up to 425 at one of the dealers but never 500. And that is with all of the harware.
And as a matter of fact for my Lincoln LS I ordered the ball joints from a dealer in Texas that had them for 300 for the upper and lower pair. So I spent 600 on all 4 when the cheapest I could get them up here was 600 per side. Sorry for highjacking the thread.
its bs because the dealerships order/get them from the ford warehouses and they wouldnt sell them that cheap. if they were, people wouldn't be paying 250-400 for used ones.
Depends on where you go I guess and how many dealerships are around. I have 5 within 10 minutes of my house
