im trying to decide weather blk out or smoked tail lights, it will be going on my triple blk 03 COBRA. anyone have pics that they can post of eather? THANKS :beer:

i never bought tint but i had mine painted looks a lot cleaner i had it done at a body shop along with the sidemarkers and the third brake light. Here is a link to what they look like but like i said i had it done at the body shop

Car's not black, but mine are 50%. Matches the 3rd brake light perfectly...
Again, not a black vehicle. its MG with spray.

i like 50%. I think it looks weird with the tailights completely black, and plus you'd probably have a better chance getting away with a 50% tint rather than a blackout. It's less obvious to the authorities.

So how exactly do you do this 50% smoked look?
Autobadges.com has a kit that is a vinyl tint you put on the lights and the side reflectors on the bumper. I wouldn't do the 3rd brake though because that almost looks tinted stock. When you tint the tailights 50%, it matches the 3rd brakelight almost perfectly.
