Black H/E rockguard

Here is a pic of my h/e rock guard that I painted black. I had taped off the cobra and painted it black. I'm gonna have to try it again and find some real good paint or even use some undercoating. Its the same material as what sambandit uses. For paint to stick you have to wipe the galvanized with vinager.

Doesnt look that bad if it were mine I would get ride of the white cobra but its looks good other then that.

Looks good man! Personally I like that area to "pop" a little more though and that's what silver does.

Isn't a rock guard going to interfere with air flow? Looks like a 30-40% air restriction to me. Just curious.

I made mine. It's a galvanized rain gutter guard from home depot. They are silver.

Sambandit makes and sells them. I got the material for free so I made mine.


As for the airflow restriction I'm not worried cause I'm 100% stock. I may remove it if I start modding but will leave it for now since this is my DD.
