Hello Everyone, Well, this weekend we finally hit the tedious work stage LOL. I was installing new seals, QTR window crank handles and miscellaneous other stuff. The first thing I did was install new door seals. Man, that weather stripping glue is a pain to work with. I mean it dries and holds great, but when applying it the glue is real stringy. Making a damn mess LOL. Then I installed the QTR window seals on the QTR panel. I removed the back seat in order to reinstall the inner QTR trim panels. While I was at it I installed new QTR window handles. It's starting to look like something again LOL. I also cleaned up my roof rail aluminum trim and installed new seals. These are the seals my windows roll up into. QTR window rolled up and tested. Seals great. Again, this was nothing difficult, but it was tedious. My roof rail trim pieces were full of wet sanding residue and overspray from the body shop that painted the car the last time. Pretty obvious these pieces were not removed. So, it took some time to get them cleaned up. Got to love taking care of things that were not done properly last time. I think if I ever decide to paint cars this is the stuff that will cause me to be slow. I don't like cutting corners. I guess the body shop does it to keep costs down and get cars in and out in a timely manner. I'll probably work on installing my back up lights and door sill plates tomorrow. I got some new stainless steel door sills. My last ones felt like they were made out of aluminum foil LOL. I also got some new door sill logos. I'll let you guys see them once they are installed, but they do go along with my badging theme.....
