And here is the clear coat. All I can say is WOW!!!! Love the results. This is going to look great after cut and buff. Look at that gloss. Love fresh clear coat (when it's sprayed right LMAO). I feel like I was able to get better coverage on my rocker panel this time. Last time I put so much clear at the back of the rocker I was nervous spraying material at the front. It has orange peel, as all paint jobs do, but it laid down smoother with my new gun than it did with my old one. Should make it easier to sand this panel now. That line on the QTR is from the sun. You'll see a close up later in this post. Again, look at the reflection. You can clearly see my box fans, open garage door and the stuff on my garage wall. I'll let it dry a few hours and then I'll unmask it. Here is my repair area. No runs and no solvent pop. SWEET! Very happy with the results. Another picture of my repair area. I'm starting to get pretty good at this. I talked to my brother today and he wants me to help him repaint his 68 Camaro. I told him if he is willing to do the sanding, I'm willing to spray LOL.... As mentioned above, the sun was shinning through a space between my garage door. It was hitting the paint just right. I think this thing is going to look great in the sun. Again, that's the sun hitting the paint, not a flash from my phone.
