Okay everyone, As mentioned before, I'm not one to only show the good stuff. There are plenty of bad things and hurdles to overcome. Remember it's not how many failures you have, but how you deal with those failures LOL. I was wet sanding the driver's side today and noticed this. It's the dreaded solvent pop. I remember spraying this area and getting a little more on the panel than I intended, but didn't realize it was this much clear. There is NO way this will buff out. I will have to repaint this area. Figures, the area I screw up is in the graphic. I swear the driver's side seems to be the problem side LOL. Time to get out the sander and go back to square 1. So, I sanded the area using 400 grit with a DA. Then I finished off the bad area with 600 grit wet. Then I sanded the QTR panel and rocker panel with 800 grit wet. I'm going to have to blend those areas so I have to prepare them for paint or clear coat. Time to mask everything up. Damn, didn't I just do this? LMAO!!! All I can do is laugh at this point. That white foam tape is used to keep from having a hardline develop. It will make the blending and polishing process easier.
