Okay everyone, I know I normally wait until Monday to post up, but couldn't wait LOL. Got my car all fixed up. I put the car back down on the wheel dolly's so I could move it back in position. Got the car back in position so I can have full access to both sides. I removed the upper portion of the stacks. Been here done this before LOL. Upon closer inspection it looks like the cable just pulled through. It was frayed, but not snapped. Here you can see the throttle cable was in an "S" shape. This is probably what caused to much tension and why it pulled through. I think I originally cut the cable too short which is why I ran it this way. No Bueno LOL. Here is how I have it routed now. Much cleaner and smoother operation. Okay, once I got to this point I stopped taking pictures, because I had a serious pucker factor moment. I went to reinstall the stacks and noticed one of my bolts was missing for my throttle assembly. I was looking everywhere and couldn't find it. So, I was like. NO.... NO WAY!!!! COULD IT BE????? YES, it was down inside the intake port of the #7 cylinder. JESUS CHRIST!!!! So, I put together a make shift magnet using the left over throttle cable sheathing and was able to retrieve it. Man, talk about a scary moment. Thank God that valve was closed and everything is cool. Whew.... So, I finished putting everything back together and it was time to test fire it again.
