Okay everyone, Painter came by at 8AM and we got started right away. Man, to say I'm happy with the results is an understatement. When the painter arrived he hit the basecoat with 1000 grit sandpaper to get rid of the remaining sand scratches. This allowed for the following application of basecoat to cover evenly. We got the red sprayed over the graphics. We had to spray a little more red over the black to get good coverage. I guess that is why there was an outline around the black on the 347. It happened again with the 427. No big deal. Time to unmask the graphics. Holy crap did this come out great! Driver's side unmasked. That's what I love about this color. Depending on the angle and lighting the pearl makes it look different. Fenders set up and ready to spray clear coat on them. Not everything went smoothly. When unmasking the graphics the paint pulled up a little with the "G" on the driver's fender and the "7" on the passenger fender. No problem, just mask it up and add some paint before applying the clear.
