After adjusting I would engage the emergency brake and try to pull the rotor off. I kept making these adjustments until the rotor could slip on, but once the emergency brake was engaged they would not budge when I tried to pull them off. Even the emergency brake switch lights up when activating and deactivating. It shuts off once the engaged or disengaged cycle is completed.
