In keeping with the "looks" theme....... My Dad removed the original steering wheel (we still have it). He did this because the original is 17 inches in diameter and WAY too big for us taller people of today. It was VERY difficult to get in and out of the car with the original steering wheel. It would also rub on our thighs and abdomen when driving. VERY uncomfortable. So, he bought an aftermarket steering wheel. It's only 13.5 inches in diameter and made it so much easier to get in and out and made it easier to drive the car. However, I have no clue why he picked this one. My wife and I both agree it does NOT fit the car at all..... So, I seen that the T-Bird company, I order parts from, has a smaller steering wheel that looks very similar to the original wheel. So, I purchased it. Hoping it will be here by the end of this week. It's cool the horn button says Ford and I like woodgrain, but this wheel does not fit the classic beauty of the Thunderbird. Time to upgrade LOL. Steering wheel removed and awaiting the arrival of the new steering wheel. Stay tuned...
