I personally like the opportunity for freedom that bitcoin offers.

freedom not to rely on any potential CBDC
freedom to travel without anyone knowing i'm holding all of my finances in my head
freedom to transact to anyone/anywhere/anytime

IDK what it's main function will be 50yrs from now

Surprised I didn’t see this yet, could definitely unlock a major leg higher.
It will be interesting to see how pricing on contracts come out… currently on futures Bitcoin it’s roughly 10K to buy a whole BTC ITM for 2 years out. But liquidity is shxt.
This should help a lot with that.

It means you can write calls on your bitcoin finally… or just sell puts against it to earn income and buy in a lower cost entry.

I’m sure A.I. is creating amazing strategies already..
For alts I bought significant ADA/cardano.. its the biggest player that is most heavily underweight

Correction. Just a touch shy of 15%. Since the buy on Sept 5

I just dug around the futures options chain, the market is at less than 1% pricing 200K by EOY 2025, just under 3% pricing 135K

The bulk of the money has it pinned in from 52K to 87K anything higher/lower would be a pretty significant deviation.

But if you really want to put money down, the market will sell you all the 200K 2025 Bitcoin today… for $1700 dollars apiece.
This picture will get a lot clearer when IBIT options open (I have no idea what day they start trading)

The way the contracts work is someone is selling you the right to their Bitcoin profit after 200K, so on the expiry date anything over 201,700 is when you start making profit… I.e. if it hit 217K and closes there you’d 10x

I'd love to see large transactions done in BTC, mainly to avoid the fees, regulation, and unnecessary 3rd parties that drive the total price up for no reason at all.

My vision for blockchain would be to have important documents like vehicle titles, land deeds, etc stored there for security and autonomy.

Time will tell...
