[QUOTE="RedVenom48, post: 16075218, member: 166576"] What a difference 3 years makes. Last core update I did, An intel 5820k was the new multicore to get, DDR4 RAM was stupid cheap, and AMD was a long time away from their Intel ass kicking days. 1586mb of GDDR5 x2 was crushing, now its just average lol. 16GB system RAM sounded like a lot at the time. Now 32GB is the new average. Crazy how 3 years rolls by and my PC, while still a solid gaming rig, is inferior. Part of me wants to say F it and just jump ship to the consoles. I bought a PS4 Pro last year, but havent had it plugged in since April (lol). I can imagine the next gen of consoles (PS5, Xbox Two?) being monstrously capable. Dont know if Im ready to give up my mouse and keyboard just yet. Just havent been into gaming recently, though this weekend I did fire up Starcraft 2 for the first time in ages. Id have to see a monster jump in performance at a good value to build another PC. But thanks to tards trying hard to cash in on crypto, its absolutely made a mess of the DIY market for video cards.
