go with the shock valving that matches your spring rate
Stock terminator struts are a bit stiffer than the Cobra R's. Cobra R shocks are stiffer than stock Terminator shocks. For 650-750 lb in springs you can use the stock struts and Cobra R shocks. Do a search on spring/shock threads for a lot of info.
