billet oil pump gears ??

are upgraded oil pump gears necessary for centrifugal superchargers or just pd? i havent found any clear info??

They are not "required". There are plenty of people running around with the stock pieces with both PD and centri boost. I would always suggest upgrading them, as an ounce of preventative maintenance, but that is up to you. It's not cheap to do it, considering the cost of the parts and the labor, but cheaper than an engine if they happen to fail.

I've heard a good shop can do it in six hours. So what ever their labor rates are x six.

They will most likely go off of the book time, which is pretty standard for a shop, which calls for 10 hrs.
