I just went through all this last year picking brakes and wheels. Hopefully this helps someone As for wheels Take a look at this picture 18s left and 19s on the right. This helped me decided to go 19 against what everyone say!!!! Lol In my opinion.. Again the right wheel 19s look great. Not all 19s look bad. . I have seen tf Chicane in 19 on new edge and the were hideous. But 18s were probably the nicest wheel for our cars. If Steve didn't stop making them I would have them on my car. As for brakes If your doing big brakes and are thinking brembo 6p 14 then you need 19s. To make them fit. They have been outta stock for a while.... And basically left me with no lip up front since they are huge!!! I wanted. A lip so this were out. The brembo 14 - 4 piston isn't avaible anymore from ftbr. Which is what most people had. They sell a gt 4p kit but it's 3500 dollars. But will fit under 18 or 19 with a custom wheel. It sticks out far as well... Which means a custom wheel. Bear 13 fit basically any wheel and the extreme caliper is a tad wider but not much. It's a very well thought out system and is in a nice package. If I had my other phone I would show you with pictures. That they are not small caliper and it mounts well under the wheel. Wildwood makes a 14 inch kit but it's basically the 13 inch with a larger rotor. The pad is super small compared to brembo or bear. IThe brembo 6p is the largest pad then the bear extreme is next. Wildwood has a rear caliper option though which is a plus thou pricey from a company called tcf??? Correct me if I'm wrong. Stoptech I looked at as well but they only had a 4 piston set up. I wanted a 6p idk why but I did. With the e85 and making over 700 I wanted the best brakes I could get. No one has the brembo 6p gt kit on their car I could find and they areway overkill and would make my wheels not look as great. So I went with baer. The bear extreme stop hard! And have no fade. Definitely worth the upgrade. I feel safer driving the car Now which was the hope. Lotta money invested in this car from myself and the prior owner. I felt brakes wheels and tires help protect it. And good insurance. Obviously Good luck with your choice. Keep us posted 2004 Cobra 2.9 Whipple
