DPS use Grappler Bumper to safely end pursuit on Loop 202
Good aprehension tool. Too bad that LEOs have to get so close to the perps.
I saw a video of this product years ago. Looks to be very effective! A better alternative to the pit maneuver I think.
1 - Won't watch video with people wearing masks
2 - Are police still a thing? They still have a budget after the whole, defund, pay for lawsuits thing?

Thats pretty cool, whats even crazier is that person was still ramming the car with police chasing.
Well that looked racist....
Seriously though... Thats pretty cool but have to wonder what caused the rage.
I tried getting my Dept to get one of those but too many Snowflakes running the dept right now in this liberal snowflake state run by snowflake Democrats.
They would rather ppl just steal cars and commit robberies, drive-by shootings, burglaries, car jackings, etc...... vs pursuing them cause heaven forbid the guy driving gets hurt smfh.
Somehow the Snowflakes think they commit these crimes with their own cars so we can just get their license plate and go to their house and arrest them.......Righhhhhhhhhht.
LE has become such a joke today its no wonder they are BEGGING ppl to become cops today. We had 740 applicants last year for probably 60 positions. 10 years ago we had 3800 applicants smh.

That still sounds like a shitload to me but what do I know. Acceptance rate of Harvard is greater st 12%.
I guess it does sound like a lot of ppl but the same amount of ppl applied to the Tennessee Hiway Patrol this year and u can fit 7 Ct's in Tennessee and they have twice as many Troopers as we do Patrolmen.
U have to remember that HALF of those that apply will be eliminated immediately! So ur really not left with many cause when the PT test comes u will lose another HALF to the failed 1.5 mile run. Then half to the Polygraph so it may sound like a lot of ppl but its really not.
It seems to be better than the pit maneuver, and safer because the pursued vehicle is stopped so quickly. That was amazing.
Because we arent a bunch of bitches here in AZ. Well, we werent until Nov 2020....
Well first of all..when entangled...the officer is entangled as well and he better have the firepower to back it up. I always instructed my officers to use caution in chasing someone, in cars and on foot, as the perp may catch him.....I got on my officers butts when they got overweight and didn't work out.
I like this device but I like the PITT better.
A friend of mine is a town cop (Sergeant). I'm going to show him this video this morning.
