Best Way to Clean Under Door Sills?

The painted surfaces under the door sills on one of my cars havent been thoroughly cleaned in years, what is the best product to use as a first step? Is there a bug and tar remover in gel form that would adhere under the sill for 10 minutes allowing it to work? Thanks

I would hit them with an All Purpose Cleaner and then a tar remover. Let it dwell, wash, clay and then polish if needed.

Steam cleaner! Used mine today and all the dirt in my doorjam just wiped away after a few passes with the wand.
